About the Artist
Hi Everyone! My name is Nolan Van Nortwick, and I've spent my entire life growing up in the Pacific Northwest in Sammamish and now Seattle, WA. Drawing was always a hobby of mine, and I dabbled a bit in high school, but my passion for art never took off until college. I studied Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN. I started drawing casual sketches in my dorm for fun, and when friends started to notice, I began getting requests for drawings from them! Soon enough, I had a line up of weeks worth of requests, and decided to start taking commissions and selling prints.
From just taking requests from DMs on my instagram account, I now have placement in several Northwest galleries and actively sell at Art and Street Festivals around the Seattle area on weekends! I've been blown away by the support of my friends, my family, and I want to thank everyone who's been a part of helping this take off.
